What Do We Believe?

God

God is love! One God, a unity of three coeternal Persons. God is revealed in
Jesus Christ, in whom we see a full picture of the Father (Colossians 1:19) and
the Holy Spirit. (John 5:39)

Salvation

Salvation comes through Jesus. Not from any goodness or work on our part. All Scripture leads to and emanates from His love, sacrifice on the cross and resurrection. (John 3:16-18)

Discipleship

Jesus calls us to a discipleship journey. (Colossians 1:28-29) We're truth learners and seekers, growing into mature Christians.

Scripture

Scripture helps us understand, learn and grow. That's why we study it deeply – to discover more and more of the character of God. God’s character, origins, the nature of human existence, time and Sabbath rest, salvation, Christ’s return – we examine all these questions in scripture, in reason, in the thought of those who have sought answers before us, and in experience. (Hebrews 4:12)

Inclusion

We are all one in our Christian journey. We respect and value the uniqueness of every person. We welcome all people who seek to know God regardless of color, gender, religion, ethnicity, social or economic class, life situation, or nationality. There are no divisions between us. (Galatians 3:23-29)

Transformation

We are growing in Christ. Being continually changed by God toward a life that no longer conforms with ways of selfishness and violence. Being transformed to a life of peace and grace, love and service. (Colossians 1:10)
